We have been to Shimla in the month of May. It is not so much crowded and weather was so good not so cold and not so hot.
We did stay for two weeks. It was awesome. We watched a few movies in the theater too.
I used to have swelling in my ankle when I walk. So my parents hired somebody who was taking care of me and helping me while I was walking. My siblings were little infants.
We loved it so much. The mall road has so many shops, we can buy beautiful handcrafted items.
It has a unique design and art.
We bought artificial fur purses and coats shawls.
Near my hotels, we have seen so many monkeys.
They always snatch things from people. It was fun.
We have seen clouds over the mountains from our hotel room.
It was so beautiful:)
According to Vicky, “Shimla, also known as Simla, is the capital and largest city of the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh.
Shimla is also a district which is surrounded by Uttarakhand state in the south-east, Mandi and Kullu districts in the north, Kinnaur in the east, Sirmor in the south and Solan in the west. In 1864, Shimla was declared the summer capital of British India, he was the successor of the North-Eastern Murray of Rawalpindi. After independence, the city became the capital of Punjab and later the name of the capital of Himachal Pradesh was given. It is the state’s leading commercial, cultural and educational center “.
Thus, Shimla became a hill station famous for balls, parties and other festivals. After this, residential schools were established for the students of upper-class families. By the latter half of 1830, this city became the center for theater and art exhibition. As the population grew, many bungalows were built and a large market was established in the city.
Under the Koppen climate classification in Shimla, there is a sub-tropical highland climate (CWB). The climate in Shimla is mainly cool during the winter and it is moderately warm during the summer. Temperature usually ranges from -4 ° C (25 ° F) to 31 ° C (88 ° F) during one year.
This route is a list of excellence- the train from Kalka-Shimla climbs to the foothills of the Himalayas on a road of 96.5 km.
