According to Wiki,” Mussoorie (Garhwali/Hindi: Masūrī) is a hill station and a municipal board in the Dehradun District of the northern Indian state of Uttarakhand. It is about 35 kilometers (22 mi) from the state capital of Dehradun and 290 km (180 mi) north of the national capital of New Delhi. The hill station is in the foothills of the Garhwal Himalayan range”.
Mussoorie is in the north Indian queens of the hill stations. My favorite hill station. We have been to Mussoorie, several times.
We went to Mussoorie trip by car, Our Chauffeur drove the car from Delhi to Mussoorie and in the Mussoorie, he drove us sometimes. For seeing very distant locations or visiting some tough driving places we took the tourist bus. It was ‘FUN’:)
Usually, we stay at the ‘Savoy hotel’.
The long time ago ‘Mussoorie’ had few hotels only. I think Mussoorie hill station has so many hotels.
Mussoorie has a fairly typical subtropical highland climate for the mid-altitude Himalaya. Summers are warm and very wet.
This hotel used by Indian film industry to do movie shooting.
I don’t’ know now.
We took ‘Gondola’ to see the view. We love to walk up and down hills full of merchandise.
I think it is called the mall road. I love to do shopping like that, with local vendors.
They always put have handcrafted things to sell.
We also love the food in the small restaurant. We prefer simple vegetarian food. Like tandoori roti and simple vegetable with raita and pickle.
I think I am hungry now….
Some of my favorite places- Kempty Falls, Mall Road, Gun Hill.
I always have craving for ‘Mussoorie’.
भारत में खूबसूरत जगहें (मसूरी)
मसूरी पहाड़ी स्टेशनों की उत्तर भारतीय रानियों में है। मेरा पसंदीदा पहाड़ी स्टेशन हम कई बार मसूरी गए हैं।
हम कार द्वारा मसूरी यात्रा में गए, हमारे चौफुर ने दिल्ली से मसूरी और मसूरी में कार चलाई, उसने कभी-कभी हमें चलाई। बहुत दूर स्थानों को देखने या कुछ कठिन ड्राइविंग स्थानों पर जाने के लिए हमने पर्यटक बस ली। वह मज़ेदार था’:)
