Festivals, Firecrackers, and safety( त्यौहार, फायरक्रैकर्स और सुरक्षा)

This is my childhood story in India. at the time of Deepawali, our papaji always buy lots of firecrackers.
I always see how our parents and our friends use them.
Once at the time of Deepawali, we were preparing to have fun outside with firecrackers.
Our neighbors were talking to our parents and playing with my siblings. I sneak out and pick one of the ‘Anaar'(Pomegranate kind of), start using those firecrackers and showing off to everybody. I wanted to impress them with my expertise.
I shouldn’t because I was only 7 years old and it was so dangerous.
By mistake, I used it upside down kind of. Another side was hollow. When I use it some kind of black smog came in my eyes.
I can’t see for a minute I was so scared. Our parents got scared very much.
The whole neighborhood came to me and asking me can you see this, that.
for a while, I told them, no, slowly I started to talk with everybody.
Then after some time, we all went to see all kind of illumination and decorations.
Our parents felt so happy to see me doing all those things.

Diwali also was known as Deepavali. Celebrating Diwali in India, peoples use firecrackers, eat different types of sweets, wear new clothes, do shopping and many things they do in Diwali.
According to The Supreme Court, “They allowed the use of “green” firecrackers for Diwali next month to try to curb pollution, but it was unclear how the rules will be enforced or whether there was such a thing as an environmentally safe firework.
The court banned the sale of firecrackers outright during the festival of lights last year but revelers bought them from neighboring states and air pollution in New Delhi hit 18 times the healthy limit. Only “safe and green firecrackers” would be allowed, for a maximum of two hours on Diwali, and only in designated areas such as parks.
Online sales were banned”.

According to Environmentalist Vimlendu Jha, “This decision should have come earlier because manufacturers are ready with all kinds of firecrackers and it will be very hard to stop, while half of our country turns into a gas chamber.”

यह भारत में मेरी बचपन की कहानी है। दीपावली के समय, हमारे पापजी हमेशा बहुत सारे फायरक्रैकर्स खरीदते हैं।
